With the loss of our weather monitoring system and our Harvey Camin Pirates Beach due to a power outage,
a request for reports from members of the community was issued.

POWER AT THE HARVEY CAM PIRATES BEACH LOCATION
WAS LOST AT 7:48PM ON FRIDAY AUGUST 25.
THE HARVEY CAM WILL BE OFFLINE UNTIL POWER IS RESTORED.

Just left Pirates West, we had a set of French doors that weren't secured and blew open. Heavy rain and strong wind. Some street flooding in the neighborhood but we were able to pass at the entrance in our SUV taking a left on Silver Reef to reach our house on the same street. Cul de sac at the end of Silver Reef is flooded but just at street level. Did not see any damage but we got in and out quickly - Anna Diaz
