On September 4, 2003 a strong lightning storm passed just to the West of Pirates'
Beach, Galveston at about 4PM.
These strikes shown here were just some of the ones that hit during about a
15 minute period.
While the bolts appear to be hitting the house next to our beach house, they are actually striking the ocean.
